A new, four part reflection and practice space was launched on May 2nd entitled Reimagining Equity. The series aims to shift narratives and open up new opportunities for community-driven decision-making within health equity initiatives. The launch event on shifting from Population Health to Health Justice, featured a panel discussion and reflections from community leaders across the Shift network: Camryn Smith from Communities in Partnership, Erika Seth Davies from Rhia Ventures, Robert Torres from Beth Israel Lahey Health, Eugene Cooke from Grow Where You Are Farm, Melissa Bosworth from Vertical Strategies, and Caitlin Dunklee from Clean Slate Initiative. All offered insights on how we might collectively challenge dominant narratives within the health sphere that limit community governance and ownership of decision-making, as well as affirmation of existing innovations being spearheaded by community health leaders nationwide. Check out the video recording of this session. During this session, leaders posed the question: what would your healthcare system look like if patients and communities you served were actually calling the shots. Participants were invited to reflect on

We are interested to deepen this inquiry and active new ways of crafting health systems that deliver on the commitments of health equity. Here is a snapshot of ideas shared by participants.
